Vehicle Detail
As pictured, 1972 Dodge Charger. This car was originally a 318, bench seat, column shift, with air conditioning, medium green metallic paint, power steering, front disc brakes. Now has a "Blue Block" 340 with 727 automatic floor shift. 1972 Dodge Bucket seats. It has a Posi rear/ratio unknown., duel exhaust with cover cut outs for on the drag strip.Aluminum wheels with Chrysler Logo decals-(Tires pass inspection). Fiberglass front fenders with new quarter panels replaced. It has a very, very solid body with little rust on drivers side floor and behind the drivers front seat. It does not require floor panels. It does have an interesting history as I am told as the previous owner/owners competed in bracket racing at Maple Grove Dragway-(Reading, Pa.) & possibly Numidia Dragway Pa. years ago.I can't track the whole history. The unique thing is that the drivers side door jam is autographed by John Force in 1989 Castrol. It has an Edelbrock Intake, Carter Competition Carb which should be rebuilt., Accel Coil, new ignition module, ballast resistor, and voltage regulator. The engine runs good, no smoke, or taps or knocks, transmission shifts. The Master Cylinder should be rebuilt. There are several new parts included with the deal-new wind wing, black decal stripes/kit,new turn signal assembly, new header pipes, new B & M Hammer Shifter, 1 new factory seat upholstery kit, weatherstripping and some other knick knacks. The interior panels are still there. Bumpers could be rechromed-(Not all bent up). and plastic grills/tailight bezels are perfect. the trunk lid was rusted out and was patched with Bondo. The hood is what it is, a dragstrip modification. Damn good oil pressure! I am located 2 hours east of Carlisle, Pa.if you are going to MoPars at Carlisle. This would make a damn nice strip car for the young MoPar enthusiast. The basics are all there, it just needs some work.No warranties. Not inspected, so it should be trailered. No overseas shipping. Very Low Reserve considering they want $3,000.00 for an empty MoPar body shell these days. Good Luck Bidding.
