- 5 Day Auction With No Reserve - Sold To The Highest Bidder - This is an original 1967 Ford Mustang Convertible. 289ci "C" Code Automatic transmission. Built & Remained in Southern California with the early Blue plates. The original color combination is Silver Frost with Black standard interior. Factory options are working power top, power steering, power brakes & console. It was repainted once in the 90's to a Burgundy color. Does have older paint with that shows it's flaws. Fine example of a California car with original panels & floors. Original dated coded fenders & quarters. The underneath is original & unrestored. Clean floors, trunk & rockers. The interior is complete & original looking. Remains the original steering wheel, gauges & working am radio. Dash compartment looks as it is unrestored & never been altered. The doors have never been hacked. Recently, I took it over to "Mustang Country" in Paramount, California. I had a brand new Black top purchased & installed by them. The rear plastic window was replaced with a new one. Has the original 289ci still in it. Very original under the hood, the engine has never been taken out. Remains the original engine, intake, 2 barrel carburetor, heads & exhaust manifolds. The aprons are original to the car & have the factory welds, Straight & clean. The engine itself has never been painted as well. A few minor bubbles on the aprons but nothing serious. I had the 2 barrel rebuilt recently as well as cleaned out the gas tank & fuel lines. Running and driving just fine. Shifts into all gears. Brakes are in good shape but remember there only power, no disc. Power top works just fine up & down. The tires are fairly new with Vintage style 15' American Torque Thrust. BF Goodrich radial T/A's P225/60R15 in the front & P225/70R15's in the rear. Gives it the hot rod look. The tires do not rub when turning. Overall, this is a complete & original 67' California Mustang with original panels. Hard to come by good body Mustangs in this day & age. Has older paint but still shows well for it's age with normal wear & tear. Your viewing a original Mustang, not a restored one. Older paint, trim & chrome. By no means in any way this is a show car. Can be driven the way it is or a great candidate for a restoration.
