You are bidding on a clean,1988 Honda NX 250, liquid-cooled, six-speed with approx. 15,000 commuter miles on the odometer in excellent condition. I am the second owner, who purchased the bike with approx. 12,500 miles. Since my ownership, bike has been returned to its original stock condition. Replaced missing rear reflector, added OEM mirrors, added OEM tires (new rear tire this season). Also removed previous owner’s misc. decals from body panels and fully refurbished panels to their original stock condition. Frame shows normal road wear, as would be expected from a bike with 15,000 commuter miles, but otherwise in excellent condition. Swingarm has slight scratch in it’s paint where the kick stand must have come in contact. Seat is beginning to show a slight wear mark and is missing it’s passenger strap (see photos). Added 1989 Honda NX 250 OEM rack w/ hardware to this bike for added convenience while commuting and Renthal (Honda CR-High-bend) handlebars for personal preference. I greatly enjoy this bike and it makes a great around-town commuter bike (70 mpg), or also a great beginner’s bike. Engine runs excellent and due to the six-speed transmission, this bike can easily see speeds of 74+ mph. I also like the idea of when you thumb the electric starter button, the bike starts before you can remove your finger! Nice, clean bike, clear title.
