Vehicle Detail

This 1973 MGB has been sitting since I bought it in 2001 for $2000 with the intention of completely restoring it. I drove it about a week and it ran well when I started to disassemble it and accumulate new parts when I was transferred to another city for longer than I care to remember and it has sat since. I have 4 other vehicles that are closer to being complete, I need the room and realistically won't get to this car any time soon so selling cheap. I have lots of things (including this) that need to be off of my property in the next 2 weeks. Must sell as a package so please don't ask to part out. If I had the time I'd part it out myself. All parts are either brand new or original to the car. What's included is a rolling shell with complete working drivetrain that was never touched. The parts are all for 1973 but will fit many other years. The only part that isn't 73 is the grill which I think is 75 but was on the car when we purchased it. NEW PARTS - drivers door, hood, left front fender, floor pans, All new body seals, new door skin on original left door, all ignition parts, steering boots, battery box, L&R door mirrors, most if not all lamps, new visors, dash, left dog leg, all inner fender retainer strips, a roll of insulation, hardware kits, grommets, bags of parts too numerous to mention. It would take more time than it's worth to list every part but if you want to know about something specific or want more pics please e-mail me. If I opened all the boxes and bags of parts they would easily cover 7 4X8 sheets of plywood but I didn't have that many and didn't have the time. The vehicle has been outdoors but covered. All the parts have been stored in my basement since purchase. They are either in original packaging with part numbers or if from vehicle arranged by section. You will get all the MGB parts I have because I have sold all but this one. There are some duplicates like 2 sets of excellent door top cappings in black, 2 driver doors. 2 hoods (original workable and new one). Included is the original dash(in bad condition), a used one with a solid foundation and back and a brand new padded dash cover. Parts may be dusty or have some surface rust from sitting so long. I primered the original trunk, the new fender and valance. Some of the original emission control parts had been removed so I bought a complete set(used) to take it back to original, from a restoration company in OK. and they are still in an unopened box. Also included are 2 top sets that were in the shed. The original with all hardware, and a newer one that the mice ate holes in but has good front bow and hardware. Exhaust was apparently installed just prior to my purchase and is in very good condition. All guages worked when I pulled the dash. Odometer reading is 21280 miles but I have no idea of actual mileage. The 3 dash parts are worth the starting bid. All new parts came from Moss Motors and Victoria British. Just the door, fender and hood were $1500.00. If I calculated what I paid for the parts, I'd shoot myself. If my wife knew what I paid, I could save the cost of the bullet. Whether you work on MGs, want to complete this one or want a complete package to get great parts for your project, this is a great deal. I have my state Motor Division researching the title but I don't think we ever registered it when my wife bought it and the file folder with all the papers on this car is empty except the sales receipt. Therefor there is no title. To the best of my knowledge this package would make a complete car except seats, carpets and door panels. This MGB is being sold as is and is not currently running. Great opportunity to get lots of mg parts restoration project. My loss is your gain.
