1997 Chevrolet Silverado Z71 Extra Cab 3-door 4x4, Sport Stepside 6ft Bed, Heavy-Duty Half-Ton. Excellent Condition. 5.7 Litre V8 350ci Engine, Automatic 4SPD Transmission. Push Button 4 Wheel Drive. P/S, P/L, P/W, Tilt Wheel, Cruise Control, Power Mirrors Both sides, Electric Drivers Seat, A/M, F/M, Cassette and Single CD, Air Conditioning, Dual Electrical Power Outlets, Towing Package, Bed-Liner, Tinted Windows. 93,700 Original Miles. This really is one sweet Truck, meticulously cared for. I have owned this truck for the last 13 years, and have always either kept it in a garage, under a carport, with a cover on it or both. Original Paint looks great. I also have maintenance records and receipts that go all the way back to an odometer reading of 11 miles, yes 11 miles thats not a typo, all the way back to July 1997. It has always received regular oil changes, regular filter changes ( fuel, air, transmission ) Radiator flushes etc. etc. If and/or when something went wrong, which was almost never, it was either replaced or repaired, This truck was a special order back in 1997 Loaded completely, including heavy duty gears in the rear end, Towing Package and a Transmission cooler, I purchased it in November 1999 after original owner traded it in for a car. At that time it had 29,000 miles on it. So in the last 13 years I have put 64,000 miles on it, so as you can see I didn't drive it alot, it generally sat in the garage with a cover over it. This Truck actually rides like a Cadillac, and I never wanted to change that ride, so its just like it came from the factory, never modified or lifted anything. Even when it came time to put new tires on it, I went right back with original Goodyear Wrangler RTS tires, that was approx. 20,000 ago, still alot of tread left. 8 months ago I had an extensive 90,000 mile inspection maintenance service done, that included oil & filter, transmission flush & filter, fuel injection cleaning, rear differential service, transfer case, alignment tire rotation & balance, air filter, fuel filter, new windshield wipers, new serpentine belt, new heavy-duty coil over rear shocks, and a kill switch. This was all done at 88,693 on 11/30/2010 to the tune of $1475.25. Like I said I have maintenance records that go back a long way and no expense was ever denied this truck. I totally beleive that preventative maintenance is the key to long life. It also has a fairly new lifetime alternator and new battery. This really is a great truck and cosmetically beautiful. I know of 2 blemishes, one on the front left bumper, right on the corner, and one on the drivers seat back rest. I took a picture of both so you can see. Both were there when I bought the truck, otherwise very little cosmetic wear, hard to get when its in the garage covered. I moved 4 months ago and for the very first time ever I don't have a garage, still covered thou... You can also see in the pictures that it currently has Hand-controls installed, I was in an accident at work 6 years ago and am paralyzed from the waist-down and tied to a wheelchair, thus these controls allow me to still drive it. The dash was not cut or modified to install them, they were routed threw the drivers crouch air-conditioning vent. Unless they are specifically needed they will be removed upon sale, that can be discussed. Being tied to a wheelchair makes it difficult for me to get in and out without help, its the main reason for selling, just can't justify keeping it and continuing to pay the insurance. Its hard to find a good, well treated, not abused, used Truck. I can asure you this is a good one, whoever won't be disappointed.
