Vehicle Detail

Honda CB200T Up for auction is a 1975 Honda CB200T. I bought this bike in February as a winter/spring project. Now that it is complete I've decided sell and start another project. This bike is complete and ready to ride. I've put about 500 miles on it so far this spring, and it is VERY FUN bike to ride (very good in corners!) This bike does 55-60MPH very comfortably and about 72mph top speed (with me 225 lbs). It also has straight pipes on it, so it sounds very mean! I know I've kept my neighbors up while tuning it in. With some more mods it could be a complete cafe racer, i just decided to go semi-cafe semi-drag style. The title is clear and the miles are very low (only 5000)! As for the upgrades and work done: I replaced the entire clutch and springs with an OEM Honda replacement. New sport tires installed and balanced. New battery. New OEM fuel petcock and fuel filter. I fully unassembled and cleaned carbs with chem-dip. I also re-jetted (several sets of jets included with bike). New points and plugs. I changed the oil 3 times to make sure any shavings where cleaned out. I cleaned the centrifugal oil filter while replacing the clutch. I installed uni foam air filters (also have the original filters with side covers). I installed new straight drag bars (also have the original bars). All electrical wiring is perfect. I purchased a full gasket kit (just in-case) included with the bike. I spent many hours on the timing and tuning (I can be very meticulous). I assure you this bike starts first time every time with the electric start (kick starter not on bike). I've never had it turn over more than once with or without the choke engaged and both cylinders fire every time. Honda engines really are incredible! And for the cons, the kick start is not installed because the kickstart shaft is not engaged in the transmission, this has never been a problem for me though. There are dents in the gas tank as pictures show. The side covers (not on bike) have a tab cracked off. The engine case and wheel spokes could use a polish job to make this bike show quality. There is a tear in the seat as pictures show. The original color of this bike was metallic silver, it is slight showing around the gas cap. The Title for the bike states that it is a 1974, but after researching the vin I found it is infact a 1975. All in all this is an awesome bike and I'm selling it before i get too attached. I simply just need the money for my next project otherwise I'd keep it. If you have any questions or concerns send a ebay question or call Drew at (two3one)two8two-0084 I may still ride the bike a few miles while auction is active odometer reading may change. This bike is for local pick-up only in Erie MI 48133
