1981 Honda Gold Wing

Up for sale is a 1981 Honda Interstate motorcycle. The bike has been completely gone thru mechanically. I have left the body stock with the original black paint and plastics. Bike is equipped with the stock faring, trunks and the Clarion Am/Fm/CB radio. One key fits all. The bike has: New matching tires and valve stems front and rear New battery and battery wiring New brake pads front & rear New Master cylinder kits front & rear New custom made front brake hoses Carbs cleaned & synchronized Valves adjusted Front forks rebuilt with new seals, bushings and wipes New rear shock boots New Gates cam belts The radiator and reserve tank were pulled, cleaned and flushed. Original choke system was replaced with one from a 83 Aspencade (from pull to lever type) The cam covers, carburetor air vacuum chambers covers, intake pipes, front forks, fuel pump, oil filter housing, water pump cover, and engine oil screen cover are all hand buffed aluminum (not a small task!). The valve covers are chrome. All chrome was cleaned and pitting removed where possible. There is still a small amount of pitting on the chrome but it is minor and not readily apparent. The front rim, brake rotor and calipers are from a 1982 Goldwing that has dual caliper brake pistons. Paint is in good condition with a smaller than normal amount of flaws. Windshield is serviceable but will need to be replaced in the near future. I was going to replace it but will leave that to the new owner because of the different heights (I like short some like tall). Bike has a fresh oil change, oil and fuel filters and NGK plugs. Bike runs flawlessly. It has the typical chain slop noise at low speed under load that is typical for the 1100’s. Bike does not smoke or leak. I drove it over 100 miles several weekends ago with no problems. Bike can be Licensed in Florida as an Antique. I have a clean title in my name in hand. Am willing to pick you up at Orlando Airport if you want to fly in at ride it home. Will also work with your shipper if you want to ship the bike. However it must be paid for and checks cleared before shipped. Since this is a 30 year old bike it is an as is auction. I have tried to explain everything I know about the bike.
