1940 Chevrolet Truck Restored 1940 chevy truck, kept mostly original. has original 6 cylinder engine 45,000 miles on speedometer. transmission has been changed at one time to a 4 speed, hole was cut bigger in floor pan to accomidate shifter. engine has almost all new gaskets, new water pump and hoses. motor runs good, burns a little oil as they all did back then ,have never touched internal parts of motor, far as i know all original, carbarator just rebuilt, runs a little rich the jetting. new brake shoes and brake lines, mastercylinder was replaced with 1970's ford f-250. the body work speeks for its self, not a show truck but a great driver. drivers side windshield has small chip. on the box someone made tail gate hinges they are not stock. running bds have alu diamond plate for stepping on. Back of cab has some waves in it fenders are all original. bumpers need to be replaced i never orderd any for the truck they will run you about 600.00 from bumper boys. this truck was found up in petosky michigan sat since 1963 was mostly oil field truck all its life thats what saved original sheet metal. this would make someone a great truck. all sales must have a deposite within 48hrs of auction close via pay pal. buyer most contact seller at this time to arrange pick of truck. truck most be picked up within one month of sale as per buyer.
