Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is a 2002 Chrysler Town & Country LX Extended Cab. This is a FLEX FUEL vehicle so you can run it on Ethanol 85. Ethanol is anywhere from fifty cents to a dollar a gallon cheaper than regular gasoline. The van has a REMOTE STARTER so you can start it up while you’re still in the house. This is great during the cold months so you can get your van nice and toasty before you get in. The remote works at a distance up to 1500 ft. Documentation for the remote starter is included. This van has running boards. This week NEW all season radials were installed on the front. The rear tires were replaced this past February, 2011. So pretty much new tires all around. A NEW radiator was installed in February, 2011, as well as NEW spark plugs and wires. NEW Delco pads and rotors on the front wheels were installed in February of 2011. The air conditioning runs cold. The van has security glass. I’ve had this van for four or five years now and it’s been very dependable. The interior is in pretty good shape. There are some scuffs and stains here and there but nothing major. There is only one small section on the exterior that shows some rust (SEE PIC). One of the hub caps is cracked and a small piece is missing. The van has been driven 135,000 miles. I have documentation on ALL work and maintenance that has been done since I have owned it. PLEASE READ: A few months ago my engine light came on and I took it to my mechanic to see what the problem was. He was getting a misfire code on cylinder #1. Since then, I have had the fuel injectors cleaned twice and the coil tested twice. The coil tested fine both times, but I was told that there is a little bit of rust on one of the posts. I asked if that would cause the misfire code and I was told probably not. However, it was mentioned to me that the coil could intermittently stop working for a brief second which might cause the code. I have also REPLACED the injector for cylinder #1 with a NEW injector. Unfortunately, I’m still having an issue. The check engine light occasionally comes on for a day or two and will go out on it’s own for a few days and then come back on, then off, then on, etc. You get the idea. I've had compression tests done on every cylinder and the compression tests are all in spec range. NO problem at all with the compression in the engine. I haven’t replaced the coil to find out if this takes care of the issue. The other thing it might be is a camshaft sensor. I haven’t replaced that yet either. The van runs fine. This van is being sold as is. There is a reserve on the van of $2,500. A Paypal deposit is required at end of auction in the amount of $300 . I would appreciate the balance in cash or bank cashier check, or you can send it through Paypal. There is a lien on the title so we will have to probably meet at my bank for the final transaction unless paid in advance and I'll take care of the lien release before we meet. You can tell by my feedback that I am an honest person so bid with confidence. Please feel free to email me with any questions and I will answer them to my best ability.
