I have for sale a 1985 Honda ATC 250R. It is in excellent condition. I did a restoration on this bike about three years ago, and have only ridden the bike on 2 weekend trips to the sand dunes since being redone. Frame has been sand blasted and powdercoated red. Many new parts were added. Many other parts were cleaned, replaced, polished or powdercoated. Here is a list of some of the parts that were added. * FMF Fatty pipe and silencer * ITP Sand Stars rear, Nanco Mowhak style sand tire on front, polished wheel and hub * Douglas Polished Wheels on rear * Polished forks and triple tree * Pro Taper bars * Polished brake resevoir and thumb throttle * New on/off, light switch * Clarke aftermarket fuel tank * Maier plastic all around * New red seat cover * Polished Shock and resevoir, stator cover and sprocket guard *K&N air filter * Chrome footpegs, brake lever and shifter * Chrome +3 extended swingarm and billet bearing carrier * Dura Blue extended axle * Oversized mikuni carb I am sure I am leaving out some other parts, but that's it in a nutshell. The engine runs well, it is stock, no cracked or repaired cases. The only problems that I know of on the bike are, the oil drain hole is stripped and needs to be rethreaded, the bolt threads in but won't tighten all the way, so it leaks oil. The front brakes do not work, have'nt tried to find out why. Other than that, this is an excellent 250r that turned alot of heads in Glamis. I really hate to sell it, but it just sits in my garage. I will also include with the sale, a CD of the workshop manual, a washed but new XL Honda ATC hoodie sweatshirt. Also a parts motor that has a cracked case, and a top end that has been modified. The bike is not showroom perfect, but really darn close. The bike is sold as is with no warranty, shipping is the buyer's responsibility.
