This 1978 MGB has been sitting since I bought it in 2006 for $850 with the intention of putting it back on the road. I was told it only needed a clutch slave cylinder rebuild and carb rebuild. It would start with ether at the time. I pulled the gas tank and purchased a new one. I pulled the carb and started to rebuild when I was transferred out of town and it has sat since. I need the room and realistically won't get to this car any time soon so selling cheap. What I know is wrong or needed - Interior is in poor condition, it will need a carburetor, doglegs and rockers are rusty and have holes but rockers appear solid, no sag. Floorpans and undercarriage appear solid. Needs steering boots, passenger door does not open, trunk support is missing, RH trunk floor outer insert is rusted but rest of trunk appears solid. Slight fold on bottom of fender behind right rear wheel. Does not appear to have had any collision damage. There is surface rust on one side of trunk lid by luggage rack. Wheel wells look good, valance isn't straight. The convertible top and exhaust were apparently installed just prior ty my purchase and are in very good condition. I do not know if guages work but everything on the dash is complete and intact but the glove box door, which is in car just not attached. Odometer reading is 9400 miles but I have no idea of actual mileage. This MGB is being sold as is and is not currently running. Great restoration project. My loss is your gain.
