I have up for auction a 2002 Dodge Sprinter Ice Cream Truck. Before you start to read this long listing,please do a search for 2002 Dodge Sprinter trucks in general & see what other people are asking for them in terms of year,mileage condition etc., POSITIVES: This IC truck is currently being used in Harford County Md. I take it out a few days a week & all day Saturday & Sunday so the mileage will be more(depending on when this gets sold). This is an automatic,so very easy to drive. It has radio(needs an antenna),heat & a/c,power steering,power windows etc., I am going on my 4th season with this truck. The ONLY reason I am selling it is because I am moving. This has been RECESSION proof. You can be your OWN boss & make your OWN hours. If you actively take this truck out,you will generate a very nice income for yourself. This would be perfect fo ranyone who is TIRED of working for someone else!! This auction is for the truck itself,all equipment(Nelson Cold Plate freezer,3 HUGH coolers,6 Chest freezers,2 5-gallon & 2 2 1/2 Cambro containers for selling coffee/hot chocolate in the early spring & late fall. Check out on Ebay how much a new 5 gallon Cambro containers go for!! You get a total of 4 of these( 2 5 gallon containers & 2 2 1/2 gallon containers) This truck is ready to make you MONEY the very next day. I have had this pass Harford County Health Dept. inspection every year,with FLYING colors. No problem at all. Like I stated in the beginning,this is a 2002 Dodge Sprinter truck with diesel engine(it actually has a Mercedes engine,So technically,you are driving a Mercedes!! I didn't take this to the Health Dept. this year because: 1) I am selling it 2) I have been busy with packing/moving etc. The Health Dept. looks for 2 main things on this truck: 1) The freezer gets -10 degrees & 2) it has lights inside & outside which this does. I also do events/functions so I had a Business License from Harford county in 2010,the cost is $302.00 for the year in my county(your business license fees may vary-check with your local town). This is optional for you. If you want to get into events(local fairs,church fundraisers etc),I would recommend that you get this license. It is very cheap & in return,you will easily make more money. Also,any expense is a tax writeoff!! This comes with a Nelson Cold Plate Freezer. This is the WAY to go,no noisy generators,no need for an inverter to power your freezer,no need for a marine battery!! All you have to do is plug the freezer into a standard outlet overnight, & it is ready to roll the next day. This freezer will go down to -30 degrees!! In a 100 degree day,this freezer will last a good 24 hours easily. There is an inverter hooked up to the truck's battery. This is mainly to run your inside/outside lights for night time vending. I rarely have had to use the lights but it's great that they are available!! Also included is 3 HUGH coolers. I keep 1 for water,the 2nd for gatorade & the 3rd for soda/snapple. You can decide on how you want to set up the coolers but that is a great addition to selling ice creams. Next is the shelving. This comes with 4 shelves. The main ones(2) sits above the freezer. This is where Idisplay/sell my candy, in addition to the soda/drinks & ice cream. The other 2 shelves are on th opposite side,ext to the serving window. Also included is 6 CHEST FREEZERS. 4 of them are full-size commercial chest freezers(Kenmore & Artic air brand. The other 2 are the smaller chest freezers(1 is Frigidair & the other is another Kenmore). Not only are you getting 6 CHEST FREEZERS but all my ice cream inventory as well!! I am guessing,but I would think that there is at least $10,000 in retail of inventory ALONE in these freezers & the ice cream truck freezer! there is a TON of ICE CREAM in these freezers. Please remember,I am still taking this truck out so the inventory will vary but I guaranteed that if the reserve is met at the end of auction(in 7 days), the winning bidder will have PLENTY of inventory to get you started!! Also included is 4 TUBS of candy-the candy alone,I have spent $500+ in. Also included(mention earlier is the 4 CAMBRO containers. These containers are AWESOME for selling instand coffee/hot chocolate in the early chilly spring/late autumn & great for ICE COLD lemonade/Kool Aid in the heat of summer. These containers keep hot boiling water HOT for HOURS(Literally) & cold lemonade/Kool Aid COLD for hours!! I will also throw in the remaining cases of styrofoam cups(these are practically full. I just stocked up towards last fall. I have 4 cases left as of this listing. PLEASE serious bidders!! I will be more than glad to answer any ?'s anyone may have. NEGATIVES: Missing 1 drivers side/back hubcap Glow plug light comes on sporadically,I think it is a loose wire because it doesn't always come on. This does NOT affect the drive. This truck drives GREAT,Please come take a look at this in person & take it for a test drive yourself. The glove compartment lock is broke(easy/cheap fix) The antenna for the radio is broke. The power locks do not work,I lock & unlock it manually! ( No big deal). On the front panel(next to the gear shift),there are 2 missing caps-minor issue but I wanted to point this out so there are no surprises. Please take a look at the last pic to see what I am referring to. This truck can use a good cleaning inside as well as a good wash on the outside.
