Vehicle Detail
Up for sale: 1973 Ford Bronco Explorer Package. Body: Great Condition. Here is the breakdown:Front and rear bumpers have been replaced and are in new condition The top of the hood has been painted however the underneath has not (see pictures)The front fenders are both in good condition. The passengers side front fender does have a small amount of bondo. The doors are both in good condition. The glass in both doors is in good shape. Currently the drivers side door has a small crack in the plastic door panel and I am including two new door panels with the Bronco (they are identical to what is currently installed). The rear fenders are both in good shape. The Tailgate is in good shape, however since all of the hardware is still new it can be a little tough to open and close. This can be improved with adjusting the hardware. The Tub or Interior is in good shape. The floor boards are painted black and the remainder is painted in Blue. The passengers side floor pan is solid. The drivers side floor pan is solid but seems to have a small fiberglass patch around the seam. There isn't any visible rust and I think what rust was there was eliminated when the truck was sanded down and repainted. 3.5" SuperliftEngine Good Condition - runs strong and smooth.V8 302 (Not Rebuilt)New Valve CoversNew Alternator New Battery New Oil PumpEngine leaks small amount of oil Power-steering pumpTransmission shifts smoothly4x4 is in working condition New Headers New Duel Exhaust Power Brake Booster Interior: Great Condition Newly upholstered seats New MP3 and Panasonic speaker system New Steering Wheel New Seat Belts and hardwareNew Door panels and accessoriesNew Side mirror New Front WindshieldNew weatherstripping around front doors and front glassTires and Wheels:35" Tires (plenty of tread left)18" Wheels (great condition) Paint: Ford Blue or "Grabber" Blue One of the best paint jobs I have seen on a Ford Bronco, it turns heads everywhere it goesOnly a few minor chips (pen tip size) by the rear fender where it appears road debris was thrown up by the tiresNo runs or bad spots to mentionInterior of the engine compartment was not painted Dash was not painted and is still in original condition Gauges: Fuel- workingOil pressure - not accurateBrake Light- running on all of the time. When the new brakes and brake lines were installed the sensor was not properly replaced. Simple fix. AMP- workingTEMP- workingSpeed- workingOdometer- working (however, I do not know enough about this vehicles history to say whether the 72k miles are original or not) Top: Original top is included however it has not been restored. New Bikini top (never used is included) This Bronco spent the majority of its life just south of Atlanta, GA. I bought it from the gentlemen who did all of the upgrades and restorations. This is a great Bronco but still has things that could be considered flaws and is not perfect. The Bronco drives nicely, however, the steering could be adjusted to run "tighter". The small amount of oil leaking from the engine stems from being 38 years old and having older seals. I have had my mechanic run through the Bronco throughly and he says the engine is in good condition. I have tried to describe in detail all that I know about the Bronco. I want whoever that purchases the Bronco to be completely satisfied with their purchase. If I can answer any questions or send more pictures of a specific thing please let me know. The Bronco is sold in "as-is" condition. www.youtube.com/watch?v=xuKeU9hBHSc Email for more info. or call 423.255.8960 This truck is for sale locally as well so I reserve the right to end this auction early. On Jun-03-11 at 11:20:44 PDT, seller added the following information:The first fuel cap is a dummy. The reserve tank was removed when the new larger tank was added in the rear.
