Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE For sale is my 1975 Honda CB125S2. It has 7,993 miles and has been very well taken care of. This bike is in very nice condition for a 36 year old bike. It would make a nice addition to someone’s vintage Honda collection or make a nice daily driver, with gas prices as high as they are. The Honda Motorcycle Identification Guide lists this as Candy Riviera Blue in color. I bought this bike in 2006 and it has seen very little use since then. I purchased it from an older gentleman in a small northern MN town who used it mostly to drive around town and run errands. He was the original owner. The gentleman I purchased it from had just had the gas tank relined. The tank is very solid and not rusted through or dented in any places. I also replaced the gas cap with a brand new Honda cap a couple years ago. The bike starts and runs well. No knocks, ticks, or rattles. It has had a recent tune-up, including timing/points adjustment, valve tappet adjustment and carburetor cleaning. I recently installed a new carburetor float needle and seat, as well as a carburetor gasket kit, and a fuel valve gasket. The air filter was replaced a couple years ago and still looks new. The oil in it is still clean – I changed it last fall. All five gears and the clutch work correctly, as do the brakes (front is a mechanical disc brake, rear is a typical drum brake), and cables. It has the original toolkit still with it (and will be included in the sale), and two original Honda keys. The lights and horn all work as they should. The seat has no rips or tears, and the seat pan is very nice as well. The exhaust is in very good condition. This bike has the speedometer and tachometer – I believe it is the last of the CB125S series bikes to have a tachometer. Both work properly. The rear tire is like new with excellent tread depth and the front tire is in good condition – a bit more worn, and some minor weather-checking, but it still has plenty of miles left on it. I suspect it is the original. As it is an old bike, there are some "slight negatives" to it: the upper left headlight fork cover is bent (shown in the picture). However, it doesn’t interfere with headlight or turn signal operation. The left side cover has a tab broken off (also shown in the picture). I repaired and glued the sidecover when I purchased it, as it was in pieces. I have the broken tab/pieces necessary for repair, so if you wish, you can repair it yourself. It is old plastic, and as such, it is brittle. Alternatively, I have seen replacement side covers frequently come up for sale on ebay. At any rate, I am including the color matched paint (aerosol can) I had mixed up to paint it (it was made by an auto body paint shop). The side cover will stay on the bike with two tabs; however, I probably wouldn’t drive it like that. Also, there are some scuffs/chips/imperfections on the gas tank...the tank isn't showroom condition, but it is pretty good. I have the clear MN title in hand. This is a fairly hard to find bike, especially in this nice of condition, and I am confident it will provide many more years of service to the next owner.
