You are bidding on a 1968 Chevy Camaro with a 355ci small block Chevrolet and a Borg Warner 5 Speed. This car runs very nice and shifts like a dream. The 5 speed gives you great out of the hole power as well as good cruising speeds on the freeway. The motor and transmission are both completely rebuilt. This car is a great start to a restoration or you can drive it as is. The dual exhaust sounds really nice and cruises really well. It has electronic ignition, roller rockers,headers, aluminum radiator and electric fans, etc etc. The headlights, turn signals, parking lights and brake lights all work on the vehicle as they should. It has an aftermarket kill switch installed for extra security too. As you can see in the pictures it does need the interior redone but it does come with a new carpet kit. All the glass is in very nice condition without any chips or scratches. The body is in way better than average condition. There are some rust bubbles starting to show around the left rear wheel well and on the very bottom of the passenger quarter. There is also a stress crack below the driver side quarter window as you can see in the pictures.The floors are very solid and so is the trunk, doors, and hood. It definately is not a rust bucket needing all the major panels replaced. It currently has Washinton collector plates on it and I just took it for a spin last week. It really cruises nice, especially with power steering. The hydraulic clutch 5 Speed sure beats the original equipment mechanical linkage from the 4 speed option. This car would be an awesome purchase for someone who can do the paint and interior. There is alot of money already spent in the running gear. Please see my feedback and bid with confidence.
