This auction is for one 1985 Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe in Oxford White with Charcoal exterior accents and Red interior with 70,800 MILES. This Thunderbird was purchased by my Aunt & Uncle new in December of 1984, I am the second owner. This car was garage kept but driven frequently in nice weather (NO WINTERS). Options on this Bird include : Handling Suspension, 15 x 7 Cast Aluminium Wheels, Luxury Interior W/ Artic Sport Seats(with functioning lumbar), Power Windows, Analog Instrumentation, Tinted Glass(Factory), Tilt Column, A/C(retrofitted to 134A), Fingertip Cruise Control, Premium Sound System with Cassette & 4 Speakers. Many new parts have been professionally installed on this car including: New Headliner & Sun Visors, Timing Belt & Tensioner,Belts, Valve Seals, Oxygen Sensor, Coolant Temp Sensor, Fuel Tank, Fuel Pump, Fuel Level Sensor, Fuel Filter, Air Filter, Spark Plugs, and all the fluids have been changed. I have the original window sticker, owners manual and rust proofing paperwork all in great condition. Also included with the sale of the car is a very nice weatherproof car cover with storage bag. This car is a VERY CLEAN survivor, it was my Aunts BABY, the original paint shines very nice, the paint on the decklid is cracking (you can't tell till you get right up to it)but still shines very nice. The exterior does have a few door dings and chips but they are not very noticeable at all. The paint is not broken at any of the dings. This car has never been involved in an accident. The interior is in excellent condition for its age. There is some fading on the outsides of the front seat backs and the very top of the rear seat,other then that the seats are real good condition , this is from driving the vehicle in the summer months to work and the car sitting in the parking lot all day. Also the front seat belt buckle plastic is cracking. The dash has no cracks and is in excellent condtion. All the weather strips and seals are perfect. This car drives out very nice, handles good, feels tight, the 5spd manual trans shifts perfect, pulls strong building good boost. The Brakes have about 85% life left and the BF Goodrich Radial T/A's are in great shape also. The under carriage is also very solid - RUST FREE - and had Super Seal Rust Proofing done before delivery. This is a very nice car that you could drive and enjoy and also show and it would hold its own. Nice examples of these cars are hard to come by don't let this one get away. Thanks for looking.
