I have had this bike for two years, and just don’t have the time to bring it back to life as I intended, and need the space in my workshop. From the pictures, it is obvious that it will need some work to be road worthy again, but in my opinion, it is in too good of condition to be parted out. I will describe what you see the best I can, and you can decide what would be best if you are the winning bidder. The motor turns freely, and seems to have good compression. The previous owner said it ran when he stopped riding it, but I’ve heard this statement too many times to make any promises about the engine’s condition. As far as I can tell, it is mostly complete, but several items like tires, chain, air filters, cables and other things will need to be replaced. It is missing the front brake lever. One of the rear shock mounts is broken, but can be welded back on, and will be as strong as it was according to a local welder. The front tire is flat, the rim is slightly tweaked, and will need straightened. The tank has rust inside, but I have acid cleaned worse, and used them with no problem. The chrome is in good shape with a few specks of rust, and will look nice after a good cleaning and polishing. The exhaust system and shields look very good with the exception of a missing baffle. I have a key but no title. It is not too hard to get a title in my state, and I will be glad to help the new owner obtain one, but can’t guarantee it will happen. Bill of sale will be provided by the seller. This is a no reserve auction with the starting bid at approximately what the exhaust and front rim / assembly sell for here on eBay. If you place a bid, assume it might be the last and winning one. I will need a down payment of $100 via Paypal 48 hours after the auction, and the balance in cash when picking it up. If you want it shipped, it will be your responsibility to make arrangements.
