We had to relist the truck because we messed up the correct year of production. Normal 0 21 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 1973 Scout II with no reserve!!!!!! (Smog Exempt in California... thanks Steve) Up for auction is our 1973 Scout II. The Truck is very solid and comes with very little rust and dents. The truck is pretty much original as you can see on the pictures. 2 years ago we have moved the vehicle from Oregon to Florida since then it has been sitting in our garage. Recently I have charged the battery, put some starter fluid into the carburetor and not surprisingly the V8 engine started right up. With a new battery and a break tune-up you will be on the road enjoying this classic truck in no time. The interior is still original and has never had to be exchanged - 38 years of use has put its marks onto the seats, carpets and dash but overall it is still ok. The removable top is easily to be taken off and you can transfer this truck into a stylish convertible. The rims are in good shape and the paint is ok, too. The manual transmission shifts smoothly and the engine is running strong. There are no cracks in the windows! 4x4 works great. If you expect a factory new truck this vehicle shouldn’t be your choice but if you are looking for an unusual eye catcher you will not be disappointed. The truck will be sold with the Oregon title since we haven’t used the Scout here in Florida so far. Please feel free to contact us with any questions via email.
