Vehicle Detail

This bronco was built this past winter. It was intended for use at our local lake: for running the beach and launching the water toys. As is often the case, its intended use gradually changed. I felt that it should be multi-purpose so that I could use it at Moab for rock crawling as well. It was never intended to be a show truck so the interior is rough and the seats have seat covers. (they do adjust forward and backward and do tilt as they should) Rear seat is removable and in pretty good shape. Floor and sides are rhino lined. The rust on this truck has been addressed by removing and replacing areas that are critical for strength and functionality. Because of the anticipated stress placed on trail rigs, it has additional body mounts. New side body panels have been installed on both sides. This truck was painted with a base coat clear coat and has 1970's hot rod mopar flat black on the hood and the shell. It is also used on the lower side of the truck. Body work was ok for a trail rig but not for serious hot rodders, custom or show. Some rhino lining is done at fender areas. This was to protect it against rock chips and trail damage. This truck will get you there and back, it get lots of thumbs up and attention from guys who like to wheel. All glass is good and the doors open and close well, rear tail gate is hard to open and close but it does latch securely. Window regulators function well. (no rear tailgate glass) The truck has both heating and cooling which work. Even though the truck has a top that is in good shape, it is seldom on the truck. The motor is a 302 fuel injected. Good shape Transmission is a 4sp with low compound gearing. T18 or NP 435. Shifts smoothly Transfer case is original but is in great shape. Drive-line (front) has been modified to handled the Straight Axle Conversion. (New Universal Joint) Front end is a dana 44 out of 1979 Ford Bronco. It has disc brakes that are in good shape. Gears are 350's with a Richmond Locker. Hubs are manual and have been serviced. Universal joint was replaced on the passenger side. Drivers side was OK. Rear end is a ford 9" with a spool. All seals and bearings are new! Brakes are new. The suspension is a 4" lift with leafs in the rear and coils in the front. The body has an additional 3" lift. Power steering and power brakes work well. Tires are brand new IROCKS with no miles. 36's on 15" rims. This is a fun truck that runs straight, it does not shimmy and does not heat up. The aggravating things that beat you up on these projects have been addressed. Why am I selling the truck after all the work and energy that has gone into it? I just got back from Moab, Utah and frankly, I feel like I need to go back to a CJ. The Truck is larger than I like for Moab. The turns are tight and narrow and there would be body damage if I pushed it too hard; but it is better than a jeep for towing the water toys. I don't know anything about monsters trucks or mud bogging but it might be ok for that. I will be happy to answer your questions. Remember, this is a serious 4x4 wheeling truck that is spooled in the rear and retro-fitted with a straight front axle. but It rides smooth . All the hard work is done! You can add to it what ever is important to you. On May-08-11 at 20:37:20 PDT, seller added the following information: This bronco was built this past winter. I cannot verify the actual miles on this truck so that may be the problem: however, it does have a clean and clear title. It is a NM issued title and has absolutely no issues other than possibly the mileage discrepancy. I can send or fax a copy of the title to any serious buyer!
