Vehicle Detail
Hello and Thank You for looking at my auction. First and foremost I would like to say that this truck is in AMAZING shape, though my opinions might reflect my addiction to this vehicle I will try to be as unbiased as I can with my description to make it fair for those interested. Here we go... SPECIFICATIONSYear: 1989 Make : Toyota Model: Land Cruiser Chassis Code: FJ62 Engine Size: 3955 cc -3FE Inline 6Bhp: 153/298 tq @ 2200 rpm Mileage: 165,649VIN # JT3FJ62G3K1110840 DESCRIPTIONThe truck is an original (2 owner) California car and has seen very little rough terrain, and contains ZERO rust, both on the chassis as well as the body and associated panels. All parts are original, or otherwise has been replaced by original TOYOTA mfg. parts. The only upgrade this vehicle has seen is with the steering damper, Hella Supertone Horns, Front Fog lamps/Rear camping light, rear dog cage (don't own a dog BTW), shifter bushings, and a newer AC supply system-(converted from an R12 to an R134 system). The car comes with a clean California title and is at hand. The transmission shifts through all gears and has recently been inspected and reported to be in great condition (Inspection performed by KH Landcruiser specialists in Canoga Park ,CA), all service work will be provided with the sale. The EXTERIOR of the vehicle is in immaculate shape(always parked underground) and would rate it at a 9.5/10 (has a pea sized rock chip on the wind shield, and an apple sized dent on the rear bumper from backing up on a mail box). The truck has never been in an accident and all panels, trim, and lights are original. There appears to be no dents other than the rear bumper and only a few scratches (2- one inch in size) on the bottom rear quarter panel. The 4 wheel drive system works great, and I try to run the system after every oil change to not have the lines corrode and dry up. I tried not to detail the engine bay to not cover up any unknowns( you can see by the pictures). The oil on the vehicle has been changed every 4,000 miles (Rotella T-10w40). The brakes have recently been bled and works great. The steering points straight and feels much stiffer now that the steering damper has been replaced (Old Man Emu). All tires (Pathfinder 31x10.5R 15) are 6,000 miles new and have tons of life left. The roof (as seen in the pictures) is also in great shape. I would also like to note that all warning stickers, labels, and badges are all intact and shows only slight wear from aging. The INTERIOR of the vehicle would rate at 8.5/10 (wear on the seats, and some stains on the rear gate-should clean up well), I mainly drive the vehicle by myself so hardly anybody sits in the passenger or in the back. The panels are all in great shape and shows no signs of cracking or peeling from the original vinyl. The carpet still also appears to be in great shape(always has been covered by mats), and all interior functions of the car work (Dome Light, Radio/Cassette Player/Speakers-all original, Horn, Dash light, Cluster assembly, Power windows,Power door locks, Air Conditioning/Fan, Toggle Switches,Wiper Arms, and a few others i'm sure I may have missed). The truck has never let me down, and was my dream car all throughout high school and college... I am a true fan of these Cruisers and spent a good 2 years looking for the right one, and know how rare they are truly becoming. I get a thumbs up every time I take her out and drive her with care at all times. In all honesty the truck really has no surprises and will trust it on a 3,000 mile road trip any day of the week. The only issue I had with the truck is an aging speedometer cable (Brand new included with the sale), and a sticking lock on the passenger front door. Other than that the truck is by far one of the best examples I have seen on the road, or on this site. I have tried to explain everything to the best of my knowledge and will update the description If anything comes to mind. Of course all questions are welcome and I will try to answer them the best I can. At this point I will let the pictures do all the talking and let you guys do all the bidding... ENJOY and GOOD LUCK.
