Vehicle Detail
This is a beautiful 72 Cuda', NOT a clone, that gathers a crowd from sight and sound. Was restored 5-6 years ago, I have had it that whole time. I take it out on nice days only, maybe 5-6 times per year. I love just knowing it's in my garage, but I'd like someone else, and their community to enjoy it as I've had my fun. Been considering selling it recently, but this is a bit spur of the moment, so I'm sure I will leave alot out, so feel free to ask questions. The engine and trans. was rebuilt when restored. The 4 speed is original to the car, the 440 is NOT. This car had a 340 in it originally. The 440 was built up nicely. Good streetable cam, steel crank, 7 qt. oil pan, edelbrock intake, with a demon carb on top. The interior is all new! Well, 5 years new. Headliner, carpet, underlay, seats. The stock radio is there, but has never worked for me. Would rather listen to the motor. The tic-toc clock was stolen by the shop that was supposed to fix it, just closed up one day with alot of angry people at the front door, nice, huh? I was looking for my interior photos, and cant find them on my comp. or too stupid to figure out where they are on here. So I went to the garage to snap a couple, I hope they turn out OK, but as I say, like new. As far as the outside pics, they should show it looks as if it was just painted still. PPG with clear. No dents, scratches, rust, etc. There are 2 bubbles in the rear valance, barely noticable, about the size of a pinky tip. The red on the grill, and snorkels are paint. The 440 stripe is a 3M graphic. Nice drag-lite mags, 3 1/2 inch front, 12 inch rear, and NO tubs or rubbing, but it's close! Found some bias plys that look great, but I think the fronts should be replaced, the rears have plenty tread. Only cause my foots gotten lighter with age, though alot of others wanna see what she can do, they get impressed with clutch in and a quick push on the throttle! OK, not saying I have'nt ever. Has 373 gears, strange axles with a spool drive to keep it hooked up, very quick. Now for the bad items. Oil was getting on the exhaust last year, and after putting it in the garage, we could see the rear main seal is leaking. I do not have the parking brake cable. Also the starter should be replaced soon, the heat from the headers is'nt doing it any favors. It'll start right up now, but I can tell it should be done in the near future. And believe it or not, the 72 had 2 different trunk seals, (based on production month). Always thought the trunk sat a touch high. I DO have the correct seal from year one, but some touch up needs to be done where the paint was removed with the old seal. Nothing noticible when the trunks closed of course, and the seal may even cover the primer, I just dont do things that way, and it has'nt been in the rain. Hence me taking interior photos in the garage, of course it's raining now! That's it, those are the only, and all flaws known by me. And I'm the only one who's driven it in the last 5-6 years. Also you may notice I have 72 Oregon plates and tags on it. That'll work in Oregon, as I have it registered as a special interest vehicle, (with the small verification sticker in the back window). But out of state, you'll know your laws better than I. I pride myself as an honest person, and wish everyone else was too. But I will be vigilant in payment and transfer of this vehicle. You can look up our local banks available in Roseburg, OR. We can meet at any of them with a check of any form, but only if they can clear it pay me the funds in cash. Any other arrangements can be discussed if you are the winner, just wanted to show 1 option that it wont be a "here's my check, bye-bye" thing. I do have the title right in front of me. Clean/clear, and in my name only. Also, if you are using a shipper, I will gladly help them with meeting up at a convenient location, as long as it's in the 97470 or 97471 zip code.
