I really appreciate the interest and the people that bid on the truck. I really understand that ya'll would like to purchase at the lowest price possible (I would too!) Originally I set the reserve price at $8,750 to see were it would go. Based on the market, the "buy it now" price is very fair and reasonable. For sale a 1955 Chevrolet 3100 1/2 ton pickup. Below is an honest evaluation of the truck. The good.... primary reason that I purchased the truck was the condition of the undercarriage and engine compartment. The rear fenders and bed are "new" metal. The bed flooring is painted (like factory). Engine runs strong. Glass is good. No Rust!!!! The issues.... "Amateur" paint job (not by me!) Some surface blisters on paint. Speedometer recently stopped working. Heater needs a core. Bottom line.... The truck is a proverbial 20 footer.
