It has a reliable, fuel injected V6 Camaro motor coupled with a 5 speed transmission built by a race shop. It’s an incredibly fun car to drive and I hate to sell it but I just don’t have room for it anymore. I bought this car in 2008 when gas first hit $4.00 a gallon. The previous owner said he got 27 mpg on the highway; I haven’t tested it to verify but it’s given me no reason to doubt the claim. If you have a long commute, this may not be the car for you. It tends to run a little hot because of the larger-than-stock motor and it doesn’t have air conditioning. It also doesn’t have power steering but this hasn’t been a big deal for me because the car is so light. Exterior: · Headlights roll perfectly and are adjusted to fit precisely in both up and down positions · Most of the car was just re-painted last week in Competition Orange. Black racing stripe re-painted on the hood but not roof or rear of the car. · Roh International 5-spoke aluminum wheels with good tires · Properly aligned doors and good door lock/latch mechanisms · Good chrome Interior: · Fully functional gauges including VDO tachometer transplanted from a Porsche and speedometer driven by an incredibly accurate converter box drive · Dashboard has some cracks on the driver’s side (see photo) · Headliner is in great condition · All switches and gauges are in good working order · Analog/mechanical clock runs but doesn’t keep perfect time · Interior is overall in good condition with no rips in the seat covers, door panels, or carpet. · CD player/stereo is not high-end but has aux input for your iPod or mp3 player Mechanical: · The previous owner did an absolutely world class job transplanting a 3.4L fuel injected V6 from a 1994 Camaro into this car! · When you turn the key, it cranks…period! No choke, no flooding, no problems! · Odometer says 9971 miles but I have no idea how many miles are actually on the car or drive train · Brakes in great shape (disc front, drum rear) · 5 Speed T5 transmission professionally built by World Class Transmissions in Pennsylvania…built to take up to 400 ft lb torque! · Transmission, pressure plate, and throw-out bearing are from a Chevy S-10 truck; bellhousing is from a mid-90s Camaro · 3.44 geared rear differential Included with car: · Detailed records and receipts from the build · Box of miscellaneous spare parts · Technical/repair manuals and wiring diagrams · Car cover Issues/Flaws: · A small amount of rust along rocker panels and lower rear of driver’s side wheel well · Runs a little rich and needs premium gas…this is because there was no room for the catalytic converter this motor was designed to work with · Window felts/rubber due for replacement · Front spoiler is cracked · Electric fuel pump can be heard while the motor is running This car is being sold “as is” and without any warranty.
