1957 Chevy 210 sedan all original belair. This 1957 210 was owned by a farmer in Tea, South dakota and was never used on salty roads. Before the previous owner became ill, he finished doing an interior kit (new seats, headliner, carpets, etc..) The dash is like new and the car has all ORIGINAL PAINT. (coral and white) The chrome seems to be all there except the front chevy emblem (can be easily ordered.) It has the original 6 cyl engine and 3 speed. Nothing has been molested. I drove this car and I was very pleased how well and tight it handled ( as video shows, I drove this car up to 60 mph) . I felt no play in the steering. Things that could be done to bring this chevy to show quality is paint. ( as you can see, the quality of the body condition for a 1957 is in great shape.) I purposely left the car uncleaned, did not power wash the engine or trunk, to show no major leaks, rust issues, and the originality. The brakes on the car work, pulled a little to the left when I used them, nothing major. The clutch engaged fine and all the gears shifted like they should. The glass issues as the pictures and video show are a crack in the windshield, and a crack in two of the side windows. All of the window roll up and down like they should. It has been sitting in the previous owners garage for the past three years. When I picked up the car, I put a battery in it, primed the carb, and it fired right up. It smoked under acceleration but seemed to get better the more it ran. When it idles, it smokes very little, but when you get on the gas, the smoke gets worse. (minor fix if it doesnt go away by running it.) It is a great entry level collector car the way it is and could be used as a daily driver right away or you can elect to take it to the next level, as this car is only going up in value. I have a clean south dakota title with numbers matching. I do not want to over or undercall this car, , in my opinion, this chevy is a very rare find being so original! Look at the 40 plus pictures and hd video, what you see is what you get and have fun bidding! I have set my reserve well below market value to ensure a sale, only bid if you are serious about buying this car as it should do above my reserve!
