You are bidding on a 1998 Jeep Cherokee Classic 4x4. This is a solid rust-free southern suv. I has not been wrecked or paint work. No body damage, except dent in passenger rocker. missing a piece of trim behind rear passenger wheel. Paint is faded on top of rear hatch, could use a good waxing, otherwise looks good. Front windshield needs replacing, I replaced both power window motor assemblies in front. The engine runs, the check engine light is on, running rough and rich, like it has a miss,, I have replaced plug wires and cap& rotor - It had arc marks inside. Must be a sensor or something. The spark plugs were not fouled up. Muffler has been removed, so it needs a muffler .Has new catalytic converter. Trans seems good, air may need charge. Valve cover leaking ,leaking at back. original owner ran synthetic oil. Needs brakes and tires. The interior is in great condition, no worn seats, carpet needs cleaning. Drivers side door inside arm rest cover missing. Headliner cover in spots sagging, but not bad. A little squeck noise in column,. Steering wheel leather peeling off. Stereo works, I think most everything works. Was going to make daily driver or trail rig, because body and interior was in such great shape, and also because it is black.
