You could drive this Cuda home. Every thing works except the fuel gauge. I bought this a month ago to build a Hemi Cuda Clone but will not have the time now with a new business. This is your opportunity to build it the way you want. If I owned this for long, it would transform into a beautiful streamlined butterfly. Restoring cars is my hobby and obsession. I DON’T CARE ABOUT GAS PRICES, I LOVE THE BIG V8 CUDAS My intention was to build a 71 hemi cuda just the way I wanted with an all aluminum 528 hemi with a 6spd ,gilled fenders painted blk. You can get the alum. Block on ebay now for 3,395. . Item # 270598769824 I have the 71 Cuda grill, tail lights and stuff PICTURED. (It is not included in this auction but is available for $1,500 additional). This Cuda is actually a 1973 with a 318 crate engine from evergreen motors with 3,500 miles on it and gets over 20 miles per gallon on the free way and runs great. Has new clutch and pressure plate. Has heavy duty rear axle and 4 spd. trans. Has newer brakes-front disc brakes, emergency brake works good. Still has the original build sheet stuck in the springs of the back seat pictured. Has working AM/FM cassette I would like to pass her on to someone capable of doing the restoration. You can drive her and restore as you go. Needs paint and body work. This Cuda is NOT a rust bucket, Frame rails and underside all good including the trunk pan, except for 8”x10” floor patch needed on drivers side. Needs: partial quarter panels both sides- outer wheel well patch passenger side- –under battery patch. windshield is scratched, other glass is good. Windows roll up and down nice. Drivers exterior door handle is broke. All locks work, Comes with jack- tire iron and spare. Needs new dash pad and head liner, needs new carpet and seats recovered.
