I am selling my 1997 BMW 528i to one lucky buyer that will get a great deal. I have had this car for a while now I bought it from a buddy in Pennsylvania after his wife rear ended another car. As you can see from the pictures, the front end is new. New fenders, bumper, bumper cover, hood, radiator, radiator support, shroud, and a bunch of other misc. parts to put it back together. There accident was a minor one but still need the parts replaced. I have driven this thing back and forth to work now for six months and recently purchased a 2001 740il and do not need this one anymore. Car runs and drives just fine except for a recent hesitation/slight jerk when you first drive off 1st gear if you are pushing the car. Runs very good on the highway and shifts through the gears and reverse. I had it checked out and was told that the issue is either a sensor due to the traction control light always staying on, in need of a trans flush, or worst case scenario a small part in the transmission that sticks shut. I am not a mechanic and am not spending any more money on the car. Other than the traction control light being on, there are no other indicator lamps on. There is a working AC compressor in the car that is not hooked up so there is no current working AC as of this moment until compressor is installed. Also the face plate to the radio was stolen when I got the car from my buddy so a radio would need to be purchased as well.
