California built Mustang that was originally a 1970 fastback with ac and 302 engine.All underdash a/c parts seem to be there so can easily be a working a/c car again.No Rust that we have found.Anyone who has built one of these cars knows it cost over 10K just for the exterior shelby parts alone.The price listed is a very fair price for a car in this nice condition. Engine: Very rare built up ford 289.Date code on engine as far as I can read it is 3B9 on the front driver side pad below the head.Gold aluminum roller rockers,nice cam,edelbrock Victor Jr high rise intake manifold,nice edelbrock 4bbl carb,all MSD ignition,Holley elect fuel pump,Edelbrock waterpump,Cobra valve covers,headers etc...This 289 was built for speed and power.You can feel it as soon as you touch the gas. The automatic transmission shifts good and has a B&M auto star shifter.Power steering works fine with new hoses. Interior: Very comfortable custom sewn cloth and vinyl seats with nice foam.Very nicely done headliner,seats,carpet,dash pad, roofrail,trunk,and door weatherstripping.Has a fold down back seat.Standard door panels.Nice steering wheel.The trunk has custom made inserts to cover the fuel tank which gives it a very clean look.They can be easily removed.Trunk is solid with no rust around the tank that we can see.Very clean interior.The milage posted is the milage that is on the original black fastback gauge cluster which we do have.It now has a 1969/1970 mach 1 woodgrain gauge cluster and clock panel.There is no sound system installed.Have an original 1969-1970 Mustang 8 track radio available but do not know if it works. Exterior: The calypso coral orange red paint is in good shape and looks great.Has all the 1969 and 1970 shelby exterior trim and lights.Sequential shelby tail lights.Shelby 15 inch rims with cobra center caps and BFG tires with only about 500 miles on them.White letters on the inside. Underside: Has the shelby exhaust system that sounds great and is not to loud.Has a nice rumble.The car has new strut bushings,High Performance KYB handling package that includes (Front coil springs,rear leaf springs,bushings, front and rear sway bars,and KYB gas ajust shocks),New upper and lower control arms, bushings,and bolt on subframe connectors that can also be welded if wanted.Very solid and seems to be all original sheetmetal under the car. We must answer this question eveyone has been asking about the hood.The hood was bowed by the stock springs that were on the car.This happens alot on fiberglass hoods.Thats why you see many fiberglass hoods with no springs at all.We have since put shelby springs on and applied weight on the hood in the sun as the paint shop suggested and it is working very well.The bow is nearly gone and things are starting to line up very well.
