1979 Chevrolet Corvette L48 190hp motor with turbo 350 automatic trans. Original drive train throughout, all numbers matching. 91500 original miles. Everything works as it should bar the clock. Lights go up and down smoothly. ICE COLD AC! Underneath is extremely clean and solid . Car drives superbly and would drive anywhere. Original wheels with plenty of tread on the tires. Interior is very nice red leather and is near perfect, just a couple of small places where the carpet is a little sun weathered. Paint is not show quality but way above driver quality, probably a 1 footer if there is such a thing! All in all a very nice original low mileage Corvette that can be enjoyed right now with nothing needed to do or spend at all. This will be a no reserve auction so bid accordingly. On May-18-11 at 06:05:02 PDT, seller added the following information: Just wanted to add a couple of things ; It has the tilt and telescoping steering wheel. Battery is fairly new and has a cutoff switch installed just in case. Exhaust is the original style 2 into 1 into 2 system although there are cutouts in the frame for a true dual exhaust if you want to go that way. Has an aftermarket cd player that works nicely although the power antenna does not appear to work every time...no idea why! AC was changed over to the newer style R134 when the new compressor and lines were fitted so can be serviced anywhere.
