2003 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner, four-door 2x4, white, automatic, Crew Cab. This is a MECHANIC SPECIAL. I bought it with the intent to fix it but I just don’t have the time or money to do it now. I would rather sell it than let it sit there until I have time who knows when. Well, the truck only had one owner. Mileage is 184k, but original title says 22 miles. The truck does not run and you would need a tow truck or car trailer to remove it. One piston rod went and caused damage to cylinder and block. Side of engine where the piston rod broke was taken apart and is now in boxes. All parts are there. Buyer would be better off buying a used engine which is the same 3.4 V6 that came in 4runners and T100s. There is a couple of small rust spots on the body (see pictures) door jamb rust is only on passenger side. There is also some rust on the hitch part of the rear bumper(see picture). Tailgate needs hinges and liner cover, and is not the same color as the truck. I would say it would be better to paint the whole truck once the rust spots are fixed. There is a small dent on rear driver side door (see picture). The truck has been sitting for a year. Needs gap fillers on front grill. ($20.00 on eBay). No rear or front ashtray. Because of the location of the CD Changer, the rear ashtray was removed. Other than that the truck is fine with clean interior and a straight body. Everything electrical works, power windows, power door lock, lights, etc. I has a great stereo system with CD changer. Good tires and spare. Good battery. Original floor mats.
