This is a 1978 volkswagon super beetle fuel injection convertible with 103,000 original miles. We are the second owners but it has been in our family sense 1978. Top is in perfect condition its only about 2 years old and has a rear glass window. It has the original engine and still runs really good. This is a rust free car that has never been in any serious car accidents. Years ago it was backed into in a parking lot and had 1 of the fenders replaced and repainted. As you can see in the pics there are a couple of close ups of some little dings and bruises she currently has. The tires are old and weather cracked and I would recomend before driving long distance that all 4 tires should be replaced. I have all 4 original rims and moon center caps. This bug would be the perfect find for someone who is looking to do a full restoration being that there is no rust and it really has a nice straight body. This little bug for its age still looks good and drives fine. It still turns heads at every stop. All the glass is in great shape with no cracks and all four windows roll up and down just fine. All the lights and signles are in good working order. transmission and clutch are also in good shape and work fine. As of now it is not currently registered but filed under non operational status. So there will not be any penalties for California registration. As you can see in the pic it still has the original spare tire and jack. Our hopes where to do a full restoration for our seventeen year old daughter but unfortunately things are not going to good financially so we are hoping to find a good home for this little bug.
