*****************************Up for sale is our RUST FREE original uncut 1970 Ford Bronco. I purchased this truck back in 2007 from the son-in-law of the original owner. The truck is an original Denver Colorado vehicle. It has 118,000 original miles and the original block and drivetrain. This truck has all its original equipment other than interior and paint. The hubcaps etc show wear related to being original. The dash is all original and unpainted. All the glass is original and clear other than the windshield which is fairly new. We have barely used this truck over the past 4 years…only once in a while on nice sunny days. I am embarrassed to say it has sat in the garage more than anything. We are now moving out of state and it deserves a good new home. I have a clear Colorado title in my name. Here is what I know about the truck…… ***DRIVETRAIN: all original with 3 speed on the column. Original 302 with factory 4:10 gearing front and rear. The gentleman I purchased it from had upgraded some of the engine components including rebuilding the heads, HEI distributor with new plugs/wires. He added an edelbrock performer intake, holley carb and aftermarket air filter and valve covers. As you can see from the pictures ALL the original equipment will be included in the auction if you want to return it to bone stock. It runs great, shifts great and stops nice. I took it to my mechanic for a once over before listing it. He remarked it is running very well, changed the oil, tuned the carb and installed a new master cylinder. He did note the holley carb is leaking a little fuel onto the intake manifold and that the carb may need a rebuild from sitting…or buy a new edelbrock off the shelf. The car is running of the front tank perfectly (it was removed and cleaned when I bought it) but is having a hard time running off the rear tank. Mechanic thinks it’s bad gas from sitting?? Brakes work great but it does pull a little to the right with hard braking. It does tend to load up when sitting but again our mechanic states it’s a fuel problem and says a rebuild or new carb would solve it. Clutch and shifting is very smooth. The truck does leak a little antifreeze out the overflow as there is not an overflow tank next to the radiator. The radiator DOES NOT leak at all. 4WD works great high and low. The truck only leaks ONE drop of oil on the ground occasionally and it is the drainplug (not the rear main). The truck has brand new tires with less than 500 miles on them. ***EXTERIOR: the outside of the truck looks very nice and I would say it’s a driver quality paint job. You will not win a high dollar show contest with this paint but it looks great from 10 feet away. You will get compliments all day long at your local gatherings. There is some orange-peel, some nicks and light scratches here/there. The front floorpans, rockers and inner fenderwells were replaced before paint. The truck is very straight with original ford bronco Prairie Yellow paint color. (same done by Chip Foose through Bronco Graveyard) All emblems were removed and there was a great attention to detail with restoration. I get compliments on this truck EVERY time I drive it. It really turns head and looks awesome! All the exterior lights work other that the drivers side front marker light in the grill?? Never messed with it?? ***INTERIOR: The interior has been completely redone with rebuild seats, professionally redone with fresh covers and professional bedliner. The dash is all original. All the controls on the dash work great as does the heater. The radio turns on but does not pull in a station. The gas gauge works a little…registers ¼ tank when its full. Mechanic thinks it’s the gauge since it’s the same for front/rear tanks. The horn is not working? The left turn signal is not working? ( the right does – think it’s the blown front left marker light) The original front seat belts are intact but the rears are not. ****I do have an original hardtop for it. It came with the truck when I purchased it and I’ve never had it on. It is in storage and is straight and rust free but UNRESTORED. It will need light work and the rear handle and key. ***I am including quite a bit of extras with the truck including…all original engine parts, new brake shoe set, headlights, coil, fuel pump, starter and 1/3 gallon of prairie yellow paint that was used to paint it and a bunch of odds and ends. Also a car cover that is a little small but does cover it in the garage. This is the 4th bronco I’ve owned and by far the cleanest. *** OVERALL this is a fantastic example of an early Ford Bronco. The hood, tailgate, tire rack and doors all shut nice and tight. It is clean and gets compliments every time it is out of the garage. I would strongly encourage the winning bidder to pick up the truck and plan to load the hardtop separately. I can bolt the hardtop on if you are shipping the truck but without the rear latch it will not be totally secure. I do have the old rubbers to bolt the hardtop on but am worried about scratching the truck. Please contact me regarding pick-up or shipping. We are moving out of state and this bronco MUST BE PICKED UP FROM OUR HOME NO LATER THAN JUNE 7TH. PLEASE ONLY BID IF YOU ARE SERIOUS…HAVE THE CASH IN HAND AND ARE PREPARED TO SET UP PICK-UP OR SHIPPING. If you have less than 5 feedback or less than 90% feedback please contact me before bidding. This truck is being sold NO RESERVE and will be sold to the highest bidder. Thanks!!! On May-13-11 at 06:25:58 PDT, seller added the following information: PLEASE Read Entire Description before bidding.
