1971 Triumph Bonneville

Excellent original unrestored condition. Although it is a 40 year old bike, so please look close at the pictures. The gold paint is slightly faded on the gas tank. There is some minor wear on the frame and front fender where cables rub when turning. Very minor stuff, but I want to describe it as thoroughly as possible. 23,105 actual miles (as of posting- I ride it, so it will have a little more). Runs and drives great. New battery for lighting system. Kick start. Starts within a few kicks; usually 2-3 if it has not been run for awhile or first kick if it has been ridden recently. The only mechanical issue is the clutch plates stick, if the bike has not been ridden for awhile. Working the clutch (pulling the lever in and out) frees them up and then they work fine. It has only acted up since pulled out of storage this spring. It has not done it since. I am selling it for my wifes uncle (he does not have an eBay account). Check my history, I have sold bikes before. I've been an eBayer since 2002. His daughter is starting college next fall thus requiring the sale of the Triumph. He is the third owner and has owned it since 1984. He had a top end engine rebuild in 1985 with 17k on the bike (have receipt). Replaced dome pistons with flat to reduce compression for better running and starting. The original pistons are also included along with several parts and manuals. Included parts and manuals: Owners manual and tool kit, Haynes Service manual, Triumph service binder, spare wire harness, spare rubber, stock air filters, spare headlight, spare handlebar switches, gaskets, plugs, etc. There are 2 small bins of extra's easily worth hundreds of dollars that go with the bike.
