This is a 79 trans am for sale. The car is currently black. The original color of the car was platinum poly silver. It has the original matching numbers 403, with turbo 350 transmission. The car is positive traction. As u can see in the photos the car has a 78 nose piece that the previous owner changed b/c of his personal taste, but this is a 79. The car is a drum brake rearend. It has an option code W. It came equipped with the fisher t-tops. The car will need floor pans on both sides, and a patch put in the rocker on the passenger side. Other than that the sheetmetal on the car is in excellent shape. The shaker hood, fenders, doors, quarters, trunk pan and trunk lid are in good shape. I have and extra 403 shaker, and also a 400 shaker that goes with the car. The only interior parts i have for the car are several sets of bucket seats that came with it. The car needs to be restored but the body and drivetrain are complete and would make an excellent project. I have driven it down the road to make sure that the transmission works. The alternator belt, and a/c belt were off the car when i got it, the a/c compressor spins fine and is not locked up. Neither is the alternator, the previous owner was gettin ready to restore the car.
