Vehicle Detail

1984 Pontiac Fiero I bought the car in 1999 from the original local owner with 34,000 miles. I intended to totally restore it but ran out of time. The car only has 54,500 original miles on it. I am selling because I still have 2 college age and 2 high school age young adults living at home and I am getting crowded for parking space and have to get rid of my hobby car/s. I began rebuilding the car from the bottom side up. The car has been sitting in my garage since the license expired 9/2008. Car runs, rides & brakes like new with all the upgrades and is very fast and fun to drive. If you love Fiero mid-engine sports cars this is a rare find. Not many left have low miles and are clean especially starting at this price. It get's really good gas mileage for a sports car. EPA estimate 27City / 32 Hwy. FYI there are 30 plus watchers don't miss your chance "New" for replaced parts indicates replaced before storage in 2008. Understand that a lot of the parts replaced were replaced not do to being used because the car has little mileage on it but age alone weakened the springs, dried the shocks out, dried out the rubber in the suspension, rusted brake and transmission lines etc. Good maintenance means good reliability. Note: I spent OVER $2500 on just the motor and transmission alone. I have spent thousands more on parts and labor from what you can see from the list below. - Paint is fading in some areas but no peeling body is in perfect shape with no cracks. I would suggest getting the car painted. I intended to do it but never got around to it. - No rips or wear on seats - Extremely clear interior and carpet - No cracks dash is clean - Factory floor mats still nice - Original Factory stereo speakers in each seat head rest - Factory Sunroof - Rear window defogger - Owners Manual with matching owner registration with VIN Verification. - 1984 Dealer Sales brochure Featuring the Fiero - Original GM keys - 15" Alloy rims one rim has a scuff. All rims have 215/60R/15 tires - Custom Fiero Center Console Cup holder - Upgraded Pioneer coaxial Speakers in the dash - Spare tire never used - 1984 Pontiac GM Service Manual provided Work done to the car: - Rebuilt Automatic Transmission currently installed with original engine that runs quite and smooth with 54,500 miles but burns oil (It doesn't smoke can be driven) - I purchased a New GM Factory rebuilt Dealer 1985-2.5L- 4 cylinder Iron duke long block engine with intentions to install. It is currently sitting on the shipping crate. Do to the fact I was going to install it. I bought a new valve cover, gaskets, oil pump, exhaust manifold, spark plugs, plug wires, coil and possibly a few other items I've forgot, I'll have to verify. All is included to the winning bidder. - New Radiator and support brackets, hoses front and rear - New Ignition Module - New ECM - New Distributor - New Throttle body - New Starter - New Alternator - New Evaporator, Dryer, condenser, and lines, upgraded system to R-134A Note: Just noticed while checking things the belt is missing (I'd replace it but it's not easy) You will have to install yourself or have it installed - New Hoses, Belts, Wires and Tune up - New fuel pump - New Stainless Steel Gas Tank Straps - New Polyurethane bushings throughout the cars suspension Front and Rear - New Front upper & Lower ball joints and tie rod end on both sides - New Rack & Pinion Boots - New 1" Rear Sway Bar - New Visors - Within the past few years I have replaced the Struts (Monroe), Shocks (KYB), springs (Eibach), and rubber seats, - K&N air filter - Had the Windshield replaced - Replaced Engine Cradle, Polyurethane Cradle bushings, Motor and Transmission mounts - New Front & Rear Brake pads, Caliper, and Rotors, Stainless steel braided Brake hoses - New Complete replacement of Stainless Steel brake lines and new brake balancer - New Stainless Steel Transmission lines front to rear - Radiator fan was never re-installed (in trunk) - Extra front and rear bumpers, rear trunk lid with luggage rack from Red 1985 SC - Custom racing style brake and gas pedals - Just put in a Band New 72 Month Free Replacement Warranty battery from Walmart with warranty recipe "Ever-start MAXX-75N" Manufacture date on battery is Jan/2011 Serious bidders only Low Reserve Bidders with less than 25 feedback please email me before bidding My Loss Is You're Gain!
