This is a bike that I had to have ever since I saw it on display at the Moto GP at Laguna Seca right before it was released. However, I could not stand the $26,000.00 to $28,000.00 that they were going for. Especially since I knew that it would be a garage ornament. During Bike Week 2010 I got my chance, BMW of Daytona had this bike on consignment. The Owner was in his 70's and this bike was not him. It had 1,392 miles on it and I paid $17,710.00 out the door. I felt that I stole it and I have enjoyed looking at it and if now has 1,439 miles on it so it has been just to look at, it is such a neat motorcycle.
