1940 Ford Standard Business Coupe. This is a rare find. Recently brought from a barn in Alabama this car is believed to have been a Moonshine runner back in the day. This is an all original all steel car. You could not fake this patina it is the real deal. This car has original paint! This was stored for many years and has since gone through a complete mechanical restoration. A lot of care was taken to retain the originality of the vehicle. The body is very very straight and original no signs of repair or bondo anywhere. There is some rot in the floors but it is minimal. The fenders have some dings and scrapes from running through the woods at night I am sure. There is virtually no rust except the rear panel as shown in the pictures. All mechanical components where rebuilt the Motor trans brakes exhaust rear end everything was redone to original. This car runs and drives perfect and I would not hesitate to drive this car across country today. You will very rarely get and opportunity to own an original 1940 Ford coupe. It would be a great car to restore although I would leave as is. The weird extra tail lights across the back deck are believed to how the driver communicated with other behind him while running through the woods with bottles of moonshine!. Please look at the pictures. This car is priced very reasonable and will sell. Truly a fly in and drive home vehicle. I have Alabama bill of sale for this vehicle for title in your state. Alabama does not title older vehicles and all states know this all you need to title or export this car is the Bill of Sale from Alabama. I will sell overseas and have sold many all over the world. I always price my cars to sell and they rarely make it to the end of the auction.
