Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE For Sale 1954 Chevrolet 3100 Pickup I purchased the pickup truck approximately 5 months ago from my grandmother’s neighbor in Orland, California. This truck was purchased in the condition that you see in the photos minus the primer paint and the wood in bed. Due to emergency financial restraints I am unable to complete this project. What I know about the truck is minimal. The truck has been sitting since 2005. Prior to being parked it was a daily driver until the engine went bad. Engine: The seller provided me with a different small block Chevy 400 engine that appears to be in good condition but will need assembly this engine is optional for the winner at no extra charge. Transmission: The truck has a 400 turbo transmission currently installed, the seller advised me that this transmission is in good working order, I also checked the transmission and appears to be in working order. Frame: The gentleman that I purchased the truck from informed me that he had upgraded the frame from a 1954 Chevrolet pickup truck frame to a 1974 Chevrolet Nova frame. Transfer of frame appears to have been done correctly because it was driven for 10 years after the frame was redone. Brakes: The truck has disc brakes all the way around that are all fully functional. Body: The body of the truck appears to not have ever been in any major collisions. There is no major damage. However there are minor dings and dents. Prior to sanding and painting the truck primer I observed zero body rust and truck is completely solid. Surprisingly it had little surface rust. This truck does include the rare 5th wheel kit. Cab: Interior of vehicle looks to be in great condition with no dents in dash board. Floors are solid with no rust/pin holes or cancer. Truck has a tilt steering column and wheel, however the column seems loose and needs to be tightening but is functional. Steering column worked to move the truck on and off the trailer and in and out of the garage. Vehicle does have a complete wiring harness that is intact but has not been tested due to engine not being installed the wiring is ran from inside of cab to the engine compartment but not connected to engine. Last known in 2005 all components such as frame, brakes, wiring and the entire truck in general were in working order. Please observe the photos closely. There are a large number of photos so that it is very clear that what you see is what you get. With in the last few days I have received a few questions in regards to the engine provided with the vehicle, I would like to make clear that the engine that is provided with this vehicle is used and not new. The heads, intake, power steering pump, and all other engine components are currently disassembled from the engine block. The engine and related components are just and extra that come free at no extra charge with the vehicle. Again the engine is used, oily and untested, however the block and related components appear in good to fair condition. I was unable to include the photos of the small block Chevy 400 engine due to ebay only allowing me to add 24 photos.
