For sale at auction is a 1968 Ford Torino hardtop. Red with black vinyl top. Cranks and runs great. Tires are better than 50%. I traded a tractor to an elderly man that was the second owner; he bought the car when it had 24,000 miles on it. It has been parked inside a garage and serviced regularly. I have service records, and original owners manual. The engine is a 289, completely rebuilt by local aircraft mechanic, receipt included, at 123,420 miles. Automatic transmission and power steering. Everything is still original, no modifications or paint jobs. All glass is undamaged. All four windows roll down smoothly. The doors close securely with no rattles. The sides were vandalized by a co-worker at the grocery store, who ran a shopping cart into the car and left dings. The vinyl top is original, but shows wear. I haven't noticed any leaks. The original cloth interior is in great shape for its age, no rips or tears. No cracks in the dash. Left door armrest has vertical crack. All gauges and instrumentation works well. Carpet shows heavy wear in front floor. Original AM radio. No rust in the trunk. Original bumper jack. This is one nice, original 1968 Torino that has been well cared-for. Bid with confidence.
