You are bidding on a Black, 1984 Nissan 300ZX, 5 speed manual transmission with a 3.0 liter engine. This was the first year Datsun-Nissan made the 300 ZX. This is also the sports car made famous by actor-director and race car driver, Paul Newman, as it is the brand he raced. I am the third owner of the car, having purchased it in 1987 with 45,000 miles on it at the time. It has been driven only in dry weather in Minnesota from 1987-2006 before being moved to our home in Englewood, Florida where it now is. In Minnesota it was garaged in a climate controlled environment, all year around. In Florida, it is also garaged. The condition of the car is very good, it is mechanically sound and well-maintained (if it needed anything, it was done) and has never been damaged, dented or in any kind of accident. The entire car was repainted (original color) in Feburary, 2003 and the paint is in very good condition. The interior of the car is in very good condition including the dash, the fabric, all the vinyl, etc. All instuments are working except the cruise control and I have not had a mechanic look at it do determine what it needs (could be just a fuse). The "T" tops work great, are very tight with no road noise. Here are some of the features the car came with: alloy wheels, fog lamps, rear wiper, splash guards, T-tops, air-conditioning, bucket seats, center console, cruise control, power mirrors, power steering, power windows, rear defrost, tilt steering, AM/FM radio, CD player, pop up headlights, power door locks, retractable antenna, adjustable headrests. Some of these features were ahead of their time. Here is some of the work I have had performed on the car: new exhaust (Oct 2010); rear brakes including calipers, brake rotors (Oct 2009);tires replaced in 2008 (2) & 2009 (2); new air-conditioning compressor (May 2009); fuel sensor (July 2008); spark plugs (June 2008); evaporator core for air-conditioning (Sept 2007); retrofit air-conditioning to CFC-free 134-A (June 2001); new starter motor (Nov 2006); timing belt, water pump, seals and drive belts (March 2005); front lower control arms (loose ball joints) (Nov 2005);rack seal (Oct 2004); total repaint (Feb 2003). The car comes with my complete file since 45,000 miles. I have enjoyed this great American Sports Car for many years of pleasure but my move to Florida nessitates, "slimming the herd". There is nothing this car requires except a new owner to continue the tender loving care this car is used to, and enjoy the compliments from everyone who sees the car.
