I just love , love my beautiful car , but I am starting a new chapter in my life and decided to sell it .I really hope that goes to someone that will appreciate it and take a great care of it . The vehicle is in amazing condition - close to a "car show condition "It is a very rare 1966 collectible Mercedes Benz 230SL . Mechanically the vehicle is in perfect condition , just last year the vehicle was pampered with new breaks ,disks, etc and all general stuff for the best performance and I have the receipt totaling over $4,000. The transmission has NO leaks! 6 CYLINDER , INLINE 150HP ENGINE . The odometer reads 75,000 miles. This vehicle is going to increase it's value each year and it is the only investment that you can make and actually be able to enjoy right away ! I am the third owner of the car - you can enjoy driving it three ways - with hard top , with soft top or convertible. The soft top is in PRISTINE LIKE NEW CONDITION.The original Becker radio WORKS PERFECT . The original clock works too . The original factory hard top is also included with the car in very good condition .All of the original trim, wood and hardware is intact with the hard top. No cracks or discoloration on the wood trims . The leather seats and interior are in great shape ,no rips ,no cracks .The engine fires easily and runs great. NO LEAKS . The body is excellent with no signs of any major collisions.The body is currently RUST FREE . The paint is a nice quality re spray with the quality of the original paint. There are very few tiny nicks and scratches in the paint, and hard to find except on extremely close inspection. All of the chrome is original . The windshield is crisp and pit free. Tires are relatively new radials with 80-90% tread left. All of the original Mercedes wrenches are included, as well as the original jack and lug wrench. Also included are the owner's manual, supplement, service book, and parts book-all factory originals. Have you seen a car made in 1966 that still has the original factory car cover ??- Well ,mine has it and it still like new if you disregard the old smell:))!
