For sale is a 1996 Automatic Honda civic Ex. The car is in running condition but does need some work. The car needs a catalytic converter as well as some new tires sometime in the near future, probably before winter sets in. The tires currently all hold air and are drive-able but the tire treads leaves something to be desired. We just replaced the windshield and the rack and pinion less than six months ago, head gasket was replaced less than 4,000 miles ago. Distributor was replaced less than six months ago. The check engine light is on, most likely due to a broken Knock sensor. There is no engine knock, it was just accidentally broken when the head gasket was replaced. Sometime during one of the repairs the cruise control was somehow disconnected, the parts are all there and the switches all function but the cruise control does not engage. The car failed inspection for a false positive for the knock sensor ONLY. Everything else passed. I have the documentation for this. Car runs well despite her current cat and tires situation. The exhaust gasket has been replaced, so there is no vehicle choking regardless of distance. The car is getting inspected now.The CAT still needs to be replaced.
