2007 Ford Mustang GT: In 2007 Shelby Automobiles Inc. produced 5,651 Mustang Shelby GT’s. Of these 2,266 were white with silver stripes (the other 3,385 were black with silver stripes); only 1,771 were white with the manual transmission and only 787 had the “Shaker 1000” audio system (all production numbers are from the Shelby Registry office at the Las Vegas Shelby factory). So however you look at it this is a rare car. All Shelby GT’s started life as a Mustang GT, equipped from the factory with the GT Upfitters Package (a special package that prepared the cars for the changes Shelby would make). At the factory the Shelby team added the Ford Racing handling package, Ford Racing Power Upgrade Package, Larger X-Pipe Exhaust, retro Hurst short throw shifter, 3:55 rear axle, Shelby Appearance package, and the appearance package from the California Special. This Car went to Shelby with the GT Premium package (leather seats, 6-way power driver’s seat, speed control, tilt wheel, side air bags, and traction control). Other options include the interior upgrade package (leather wrapped steering wheel, bright polished register rings, 6-gage cluster, MYcolor, message center, woven charcoal aluminum instrument panel); heated front seats and Shaker 1000 audio system. Car has 40,500 problem free adult one owner miles. Tires are TOYO Proxes 4 100W with only 9,000 miles. Car has been garaged all its life and I work from home most days so it has spent little time sitting outside.
