Up for auction is a 1948 GMC 1 ½ Ton Dually Stake / CattleTruck – all original!! RESERVE LOWERED! Even though this is a 61 year old truck that has spent its entire “life” in and around Toledo Ohio, it is in remarkably good condition! The current owner purchased the truck in 1991, and it has been stored inside ever since. The truck runs, shifts and drives, however the brakes do not work. With only 37,421 original miles, the interior is in great shape, the seat has minimal wear, the roof liner, dash, door panels and glass are all in good condition as are the interior of the bed and stake body. The truck has never been restored – there is no Bondo on this truck – the paint is all original. There are a few areas showing rust through (see pics) and there is minor surface rust on the underside. Included with the truck are 2 spare tires, large waterproof tarp on the body and an extra set of low-profile stake rails.
