Very solid project car that was licensed and driven up to a few months ago. The 350 TPI engine fires up easily and sounds bossy and the drivetrain is solid. We look to be the 3rd owner and the previous 2 owners appear to have kept it mechanically maintained. Major items needing attention are: T-tops are original plastic so are dull and have a couple small cracks, original rubber rear spoiler is degraded, needs a battery, needs exhaust, rear hatch seal should be replaced, headlights come on but do not pop up. Lower body panels have evidence of rust but are not too far gone. Driver floor pan has a soft spot the size of a fist. Tires are still legal but will need replaced before long. Good points: Car is very complete and is a prime candidate for restoration. Engine does not make any adverse noises and still feels strong. It does not blow any smoke. The HD radiator was replaced recently and is full of bright green anti-freeze. Engine oil is clear and trans fluid has good smell (unburnt). Gages work and no electrical / wiring problems that we could detect. T top gaskets in good condition. A/C comppressor operates quietly. Doubt you'll find a better one to work on that this. We offer the buyer the right of refusal at pick up if you decide it's not what you wanted (any deposit will be gladly refunded and no negative feedback will be given). We want this one to go to a good home. Could likely be driven home but we advise trailering.
