For sale: Triumph bobber The bike for sale in this auction is a 1966 Triumph Bonneville chopper done up in that classic 60'S style. Since Don was in business in 1963 he is very familiar with the correctness of this classic period chopper. The best part about it is, that with all the years of experience that we have here, this bike is not a death trap like many of those bikes were back in those days. This bike has been completely revamped and rebuilt so you can jump on and ride. All paint was done in house using House of Colors metalflake and candy. the camera distorted the colors a little. The red is House of Color magenta, the purple looks more blue in the picture but is grape purple and their is very light lace blended is that the camera didn't quite catch it. The bike was taken down to every nut and bolt. The crank was out of the motor and turned. The sludge trap was removed and cleaned. Every seal, bearing and bushing is new. The cases were cleaned to have that new cast sheen. The top end is all refurbished. Starting with a new bore, pistons, rings, valves, springs and guides Needless to say the entire transmission was checked and the primary was gone through using a new chain, tensioner blade, chainwheel, clutch plates, stator and rotor. All of our bikes are assembled with care and are built to ride. Nothing is left untouched. This bike is a great running bike that if you choose to can ride on a daily basis or take it to shows and show it off, the choice is yours. The winner of this auction will be responsible for shipping. You will also have to give us a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $500 after end of auction.
