Vehicle Detail

This has been a great vehicle for us. I believe we are the second owners. We bought it from a dealer in 2002 with 59K miles. We have upgraded to a Suburban with 4 wheel drive for the Wisconsin winters. 1999 Oldsmobile Silhouette GLS Extended VIN: 1GHDX03E9XD349191 Engine: V-6, 3.4 L Automatic Transmission Power windows Power locks Power seats Dual sliding doors with one power sliding door AC works Leather seats 4 bucket seats CD and cassette 2 keys and 1 remote 144K miles, runs great! 18 mpg Remote start (key with antitheft chip needs to be near the igniton) Never been smoked in. Good news: Engine runs great. Transmission shifts smooth, never had any problems. Front suspension replaced at 137K. Rear shocks replaced at 137K. Water Pump replaced at 137K. Replaced Mass Air Flow Sensor at 121K. Replaced plugs and ignition coil at 120K. Replaced fuel injectors at 84K. Interior is very clean. I spent way too long cleaning it. AC works Bad news: Sounds like there is a hole in the exhaust. Needs new tires. There may be a problem with the ABS. I thought it was taking a long time to stop. I unplugged one of the wheel speed sensors to disable the ABS. It stops great, but no ABS. It may just need to be bled. Power door works most of the time, but acts funny sometimes. I think it just needs to be adjusted. Power sliding door can be disabled with a switch on th console. Shift indicator light is out. You have to count the positions Park, Reverse, Neutral, Drive. It's easy. Auxillary power port doesn't work, but the cigarette lighter does. Can probably be fixed easily. Front seat arm rests are damaged, they tilt down too far. One small hole in drivers seat leather, otherwise all leather in great shape. Cup holder on inside of passenger seat is broken. Inside handle missing from hatch door, no big deal. Starting to rust. Missing cover to hub cap. Fog lights are broken. One of the seat back reclining knobs is broken. I tried to be very detailed in my description of the flaws with this vehicle. There are no surprizes. I think it will be a very good runner for a few years. Email me for any specific questions. I have detailed service records.
