*CHECK OUT THE SCORE EBAY GAVE THIS VAN! WOW!!!!!!! 53!!!!!!!!!! Real for all the details! FULL DISCLOSURE! MAKE AN OFFER!!! I purchased this Van with 32,896 (ACTUAL Mileage on a CLEAR Mass Title) The van now has about 41,000(or less) miles. I used this van mostly on special occasions, when a large moving van was needed and since it hasn't been used in the last 3 months, is sitting and could use the room in my driveway. I am selling this truck "for parts/restoration" for the following reasons. I believe it is an easy fix to get up to snuff and on the road once again. 1. Under the drivers seat has rot and the front of the drivers seat has become dis-attached under the front of the seat, so when you go up a hill, the seat tilts back... Oddly, there doesn't appear to be any rot much elsewhere in the truck. (Check the pics!) I was actually surprised this happened because the truck seems pretty solid throughout. 2. Though the truck started when I took the pictures, I was surprised. When I went to use the truck a few months ago, it wouldn't start, though I had just had some $700 worth of work done. (such as the fuel filter, which is in the gas tank, I believe the fuel filter also was replaced, something about a control idle valve, and the oxygen sensor) So I believe either the control idle valve is defective, or possibly the fuel pump?), I'm not a mechanic and don't need the van as much as I used to so is in part reason why I am selling. Late last year the exhaust was replaced from midway under to the back. A new battery was installed 2 or 3 months ago (thinking this might be the problem starting/dying but wasn't). The van was always dependable until I had the work done on the fuel pump & filter. Again, it did start today, but it might not later tonight, so really those two things need to be worked on. The fuel system (defective parts?) and DEFINITELY NEEDS some welding under the drivers seat to pass inspection. I was told by the mechanic at the last garage I brought it to that it was in good condition and was worth putting in the money, of course I did and I'm back to the original problem. (no, I'm not going back!Lol) The passenger seat is fully connected with no signs of being loose and as you can see in the pictures, the door jams all look really good, with no indication that there is rot anywhere on the truck but there is. (see pics for more info). I believe the truck needs brake pads though the garage said they were good. (possibly U-JOINTS) which I also mentioned to the garage but they left them as is. This van needs to be cleaned out, it has some stuff in there, (in the pics) and all these items will be removed upon the sale of the truck. The truck is inspected until MARCH 2011. All the lights/signals worked fine, though the front right light assembly exterior frame is cracked and missing a piece of the frame, but has nothing to do with the functionality of the lights. There is also what appears to be a generator and CB system that I have never tried so have no idea if they work. (this was a former COMCAST Van and you can see the COMCAST under the White paint on the exterior. The tires all have tread but not sure if all have enough to pass a future inspection. (it will be "close") Basically, this will make a good van, but will need some work to bring up to snuff. On the positive, the Van has less than 41,000 original miles, and the motor runs VERY Strong, the Transmission had NO issues and with the exception of the "starting up and stay running" problem, along with the rot under the drivers seat. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. I am sure there may be several things that may need to be replaced that I don't know about, keep in mind, this van is 21 years old. Thanks for your interest! If you would like to come inspect the truck prior to making an offer/purchase, please let me know via ebay messages along with your phone #. I am in Milford, MA. 01757. I haven't run this through that checking system they have but it should have high #'s. (oh, I believe it does has AC but something happened to the controls on the dashboard, so it won't "go into AC" mode.... I'm not really certain what's going on but thought I should mention it. But it does have AC and did work last year. The fine print. THERE IS NO GUARANTEE the truck will drive you home and is sold for parts/fix up. It is NOT guaranteed to be fully functional at the time of purchase. SOLD AS IS/WHERE IS. NO WARRANTY EXPRESSED or Implied. ****UPDATE!!!! posted March 3, 2011, I needed some room in my driveway so I went to move the van up a few feet and it wouldn't start. I tried it a few times and it wouldn't turn over and I didn't want to kill the new battery so I stopped. (again, I think this is a fuel issue) but I just wanted you to know it's been radical (as far as starting) the past few months. (since I got it fixed!) I just went an lowered the price an additional $300 to cover what I believe the problem may be. (fuel pump or control idle valve, I think one of these might have been defective as before the issues I've been having this truck drove like new) I put about this much money into the van the past 6 months not including the original purchase price! A STEAL!!!!!!!!!! This is a decent truck folks, and my description I believe is "full disclosure" so you shouldn't have any surprises upon receiving this truck. (unlike many car purchases I've made myself on line). This truck is worth much more to the right person. I have to admit, if I were looking for a van, I would buy this and plan on putting $1000 into it, which this one needs very little. In fact, the right person might not need to put a dime into it. I really have no idea, but I am tired of bringing it into garages and them fixing the same thing and the same thing happens down the road a mile. I just don't have the time to mess with this truck. Come get it! Please email with any questions. Thanks for your interest!
