Up for auction is a real tight project car, I bought this El Camino with the intentions of restoring it, but i have too many others projects at the moment. This Camino is original with the exception of the rebuilt 4 speed trans, but it does have the original 283 V8 engine that was rebuilt as well. Car has disk brakes on the front that work well. Body it solid for the most part, does have the usual floor rust, and some rust in the rear quarters, but the rest seem to be good. Tailgate is solid as well as the front of the bed. Car is currently in flat black primer. It has a new set of tires and rally rims have been blasted and painted with rally rim paint. The car runs,drives, and stops good, i just dont have time and money to finish it. I have all the original chrome for the entire car with the exception of the windshield trim, i also have the original mirrors, seat belts, and radio. This is an easy car to finish and i honestly believe someone could make this a daily driver over the period of a weekend. This would make a great father and son project or a good project for someone with little experience with old cars. Bid to win, reserve is set at what i have in the car.
