1982 Volkswagen Rabbit Convertible Just in time for the sunny weather! You are bidding on a 1982 Volkswagen Rabbit Convertible. I purchased this vehicle used in 2002. I’ve given it a number of upgrades since I obtained the vehicle. Here are some of the primary features: Rebuilt Engine: Overbored with 1.6L GTi Heron Pistons to yield a compression ratio of 9.2:1 and 1.8L displacement. Compression recently tested to 195+ psi on all cylinders. Please note that the rebuilt engine was transferred from another Rabbit that I previously owned. Advertised mileage indicates number of miles on rebuilt engine.
